Celebrating the Life of Bill Carswell
13th July 1929 - 17th December 2023
Bill's funeral will take place at 11:30 am on Monday 15th January 2024 at Orchardhill Parish Church. Afterwards there will be a cremation service at the Linn crematorium.
The family would like to thank you for joining them today.
If you are able to, you are welcome to join the family for refreshments at The Busby Hotel from 1.30 pm.
The family asks that no flowers be sent. However, those who wish to donate to a charity in memory of Bill are invited to consider the the stoma charity;

Car Parking
The Church car park is opposite the church with overflow parking about 50 yds down Rosslea Drive which is on the left opposite the Church.
Seating within the Church
Orchardhill is large, welcoming and can accommodate up to 160 seated funeral attendees for the service.
For those who cannot attend the service, the ceremony will be live streamed and available for later viewing for those who wish to celebrate Bill's life in that way.

Friends are invited to join the family at 1:30 pm onwards at the Busby Hotel.
Please remember to switch your phone to airplane mode or off during the service.
Toilet facilities are located in the hallway behind the pulpit end of the church and are marked Gents and Ladies.
The fire exits are clearly marked above the doors to your right as you are seated and in the unlikely event of a fire, a sounder will alert you and fire safety marshalls from Orchardhill will show you to the best exit.
