Rev. Gillian Rooney is our minister and was ordained and inducted into Ministry at Orchardhill Parish Church on the 2nd December 2021 by Glasgow Presbytery.
Gillian is married to Mark and they have three children Martha Clara and Sally.
Gillian first came to Orchardhill in September 2020 as a probationer minister under the guidance of Rev Dr Grant Barclay.
Following his call to take up another role within Glasgow Presbytery, Gillian has been the main stay of the congregation throughout those difficult months of the pandemic.
Prior to being called to the ministry Gillian was an occupational therapist working for over 20 years helping others.
Gillian is looking forward to meeting the congregation over the coming months as she settles into her permanent appointment at Orchardhill Parish Church.
