Intimations week commencing 10th  September 2017

The Lord’s Supper  We celebrate Holy Communion together at our morning worship. The Lord’s Table is open to all who are baptised, love the Lord Jesus Christ and respond in faith to his invitation, ‘Take, eat.’

Members of the Congregational Board are reminded there will be a short meeting after the service today.

Orchardhill Vision - Summer visits   You’re welcome to join us as we visit: Chryston Church today (meeting in our car park at 1.50 to coordinate cars, or there at 2.30pm,) to learn how disciples are nurtured in faith for service in small groups.

Orchardhill Record –October Deadline Today is the deadline for the October edition of the Orchardhill Record. Contributions should be sent by email to record-editor@orchardhill.org.uk before 1.00pm. Anyone without email facility should leave a typed contribution in the relevant slot in the rack in the church corridor no later than 11.30am.

Study Leave Grant Barclay begins six weeks of study leave tomorrow in Israel and Palestine. During this time our services shall be conducted mainly by Graham Cartlidge and Donald Macleod.

Church Office is closed this Tuesday re-opening on Wednesday 13th September.

MacMillan Cancer World’s biggest Coffee Morning Isabella Hood will be hosting her coffee morning on Friday 29th September from 8.00am please drop in for a coffee, cake and a chance to win some raffle prizes.

Church Choir resumes on Wednesday 13th September at 7.30pm – new members will be made very welcome. The Choir shall be working on anthems/introits and starting on our new Christmas Cantata ‘Invitation to a miracle’ – this shall be a British première of this musical work. Come along and join us!

Lodging House Mission we have received an urgent request for socks, boxer shorts, shaving foam and disposable razors. There will be a box at the front door today for your donations.

Christian Aid Book Sale on Saturday 16th September, at Morrisons, Fenwick Road from 10.00am – 12.30pm. We would be grateful for the support of one or two additional helpers, and the support of as many members of the congregation as possible. We have a plentiful supply of books, but if you would like to contribute some fresh books or help on the Saturday morning, please contact David Howard, 571 7854 or Ian Anderson 563 2395.
