Pentecost Service We’re hoping to do things a little differently next Sunday to celebrate Pentecost. Church will be decorated (join us at 10.30 on Saturday 3rd June if you’d like to help), we may be seated slightly differently and hope to hear from a range of voices about enthusiastic faith in Jesus as Crosswords lead our praise. We hope you’ll join us then.

Elders’ Conference Elders meet in conference from 12 noon until 4.30pm next Sunday to begin to flesh out the vision for Orchardhill for the coming years.

Songs of Praise We have a special songs of praise service at 6.30pm next Sunday, 4th June, as we worship through a range of songs and readings led by the choir and accompanied by a full orchestra.

Sunshine Bags We still have a few sunshine bags for you - an easy way to encourage gratitude for all sorts of things in life and which supports Mary’s Meals. If you’ve taken one, we hope you’re putting in a coin every time you see some sunshine in your life. Bags are available after worship.

Christian History Reading Group We’re discussing Part 4 (pp.289-415) of MacCulloch’s History of Christianity on Monday 5th June at 7.30 in the Lounge. All who are interested are welcome.

Orchard Café News Due to the school holiday weekend the Café will be closed on Tuesday the 30th May. We will reopen on Thursday 1st June.

The summer is fast approaching and we are already planning for our Strawberry Tea. This will be on Tuesday the 13thJune from 10am till 12noon. Put it in your diary now and invite a friend to come with you. We will be serving up lots of delicious baking, some with strawberries, some with raspberries and some plain.
