War Memorial Restoration Giffnock South Parish Church is currently engaged in acting as administrator for a project to refurbish the war Memorial at Eastwood Toll.  Twenty-three of the names on the Memorial belong to past members of Orchardhill and they account for about half of the total number of names on the Memorial.  Various grants have been obtained to cover the cost of refurbishment but there is a shortfall of about £2000 which is being covered by Giffnock South presently.  We have received a letter from them asking whether any members of Orchardhill would wish to make a donation towards the shortfall.  If anyone would like to make a donation, please contact Alison Fenton, Session Clerk, 638 2599.
