Bible Study: Revelation Our fortnightly morning Bible studies continue on Tuesday at 11am in the Lounge. This week we consider chapters 12 and 13, using pages 106 - 121 of Tom Wright’s book.

History Reading Group Conversation with Prof Edward Adams on worship in early Christian communities. This Sunday, 21st May 2pm-4pm in the Manse, 23 Huntly Avenue.

Elders’ Conference Elders meet in conference from 12 noon until 4.30pm on Sunday 4th June to flesh out a vision for Orchardhill for the coming years.

Pentecost Service We’re hoping to do things a little differently on 4th June as we celebrate Pentecost. Church will be decorated (join us at 10.30 on Saturday 3rd June if you’d like to help), we may be seated differently and hope to hear from a range of voices about enthusiastic faith in Jesus as Crosswords lead our praise. We hope you’ll join us then.

Orchard Café News Due to the school holiday weekend the Café will be closed on Tuesday the 30th May. We will reopen on Thursday 1st June.

The summer is fast approaching and we are already planning for our Strawberry Tea. This will be on Tuesday the 13thJune from 10am till 12noon. Put it in your diary now and invite a friend to come with you. We will be serving up lots of delicious baking, some with strawberries, some with raspberries and some plain.

Thank you for supporting Christian Aid in May. Your donations in June will go to the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice.

Songs of Praise An evening of Songs of Praise will be celebrated on Sunday 4th June at 6.30pm here in Orchardhill Church.  This evening will be led by the Orchardhill Choir and friends, accompanied by a full Orchestra! Please join us for a ‘big sing’ of some of our favourite hymns.  Refreshments will be available afterwards.

Sunshine Bags We still have a few sunshine bags to give you - an easy way to encourage gratitude for all sorts of things in life which supports Mary’s Meals. If you’ve taken one, we hope you’re putting in a coin every time you see some sunshine in your life. Bags are available after worship.
